I consider myself a late bloomer and waited so long to start dating due to personal reasons. But now that I'm well in my 20s, I feel the urge to start dating and get my feet in the water. But…
I'm starting to see a dating pattern as of late with the pandemic. Most of the guys I have convos with either online or through dating apps appear nice at first, add to that the chemistry starts off with an astronomical bang. But after a while, a SHORT while, they start to reveal their true intentions, with me inevitably learning of their sex fantasies, fetishes, and desire for only a sexting/roleplaying relationship.
Am I naive to want to start a relationship in the traditional sense with this pandemic as our backdrop? Is it naive to want a friendship first then allow it to grow into love? Should I just wait it out until this pandemic is over?
