Basically, there's a girl I asked out 2 years ago and she rejected me politely. I respected her decision and kept my distance, but we were still cordial in person (we have classes together).
A few months ago, she started messaging me a lot more frequently and I asked her if her feelings changed about us, and she said she thinks they did and she was open to the idea of dating.
We agreed to go on a date, and on the date, she said she's never been in a relationship before or even dated and was even nervous holding hands.
We had a good time, however, the day after she gave me the "She's not ready for a relationship" and wants to focus on school.
I'm not mad at her at all, but I feel if she was really interested in me, she would've said yes to another date? Also moving forward, I've decided to keep my distance and will be cordial if she initiates anything.
Any advice?
