Would a woman who possesses a MA degree or higher intimidate a man?

I really hope not, but seems like women who are college-educated and has a career are at a disadvantage of dating. I don't get it. I don't see what's so intimidating about college-educated women. We are like other women.

As I grew up, my mother encouraged me and my brother to go to college because she believed that it is important for us to go to college and we will possibly find good-paying jobs. She wished she didn't change her mind and chose to not go to college when she was young. She regretted it.

Now I have a career, and I'm also a graduate student. My classes will begin in few weeks. By the way, I never had a boyfriend or I never went on a date before. I waited for Mr. Right to come along if I concentrated on myself.

I'm actually more interested in meeting someone special, getting married, and starting a family. Apparently, that hasn't happened so I've pursued my education and career as a "backup." I need to financially support myself. If I got married and pregnant, I'd be happy to be a stay-at-home mom like my mom was so I'd spend time with my babies and raise them. I'd be able to help around the house as well.

Don't get me wrong. I do appreciate my mom for encouraging me to go to college and get a degree. Look, I'm still single but at least I can take care of myself.

I'm concerned that my education background and career may intimidate men. I don't understand why it would intimidate many men. I am aware that it doesn't intimidate some men but women with higher education seem to have a hard time to find a boyfriend or husband. Why?
