I always felt struggling when it came to dating. I never had luck getting a date or finding a boyfriend. I wanted to find someone whom I’d be friend with first, so I’d know our friendship can sustain our relationship. We would already have formed a bonding. I like to get to know him first. I also want compatibility and chemistry.
I always wondered how people got dates and new girlfriends/boyfriends because a relationship took time. Often their relationships didn’t last long, and they failed. It turned out their partners didn’t turn out good as they thought they were.
I never understood why people would be willing to meet new people from dating apps asap then began dating meanwhile I liked to take my time and find someone I think I might be compatible with and feeling chemistry with. If I haven’t found someone yet, I’m fine with being single meanwhile other people got so depressed over being single and needed to be in a relationship.
Now I know why I’m still single because I don’t have any self esteem issues so I’d not use dating for my self esteem issues. I just haven’t found the right guy. Well, I thought I did because my friend was someone I really wanted to be with, but I understood his logics why our relationship may be hard. I do have a solution, but I don’t want to make him feel pressured so I didn’t tell him.
After being “rejected,” I didn’t look for someone to make me feel desired by someone else. I never thought of that until someone told me why she dated another guy right after breakup. After being turned down my friend whom I really like, I don’t want to be with someone else. I just concentrate on myself and do whatever I want to do in my life. I don’t really need a man anyway. What I actually want was companion and someone I love.
A lot of people use dating for their self esteem, but is there someone who wants companion, compatiblity, friendship, and chemistry like I do?
